The Minnesota ROKKR revealed the team’s 2023 Call of Duty League roster today during a press conference ahead of the new season.
Call of Duty's seasonal "Rostermania" is underway, and it's been quite a ride thus far. Some teams have shuffled significantly, while OpTic Texas, Los Angeles Thieves, and Seattle Surge remain unchanged. That ultimately leaves ten other rosters that will see players come and go ahead of Modern Warfare 2's launch in October. One of those teams – Minnesota ROKKR – saw all four of its starting roster members leave to begin the free agency period.
Unfortunately, Minnesota ROKKR's roster struggled last season, finishing 11th and failing to qualify for the 2022 Call of Duty League Championship. As a result, the team's decision allowed Colt "Havok" McLendon, Eli "Standy" Bentz, Dillon "Attach" Price, and Preston "Priestahh" Greiner to explore other opportunities.
Today, ROKKR held a press conference to unveil their 2023 Call of Duty League roster officially.

During today's Minnesota ROKKR press conference, the team revealed that it would retain Attach from the 2022 season, and add former Toronto Ultra players Ben "Bance" Bance and Cameron "Cammy" McKilligan, and finally Marcus "Afro" Reid formerly of the London Royal Ravens. These four players will represent the Minnesota ROKKR roster on one year contracts.
On the press conference, COO Brett Diamond said Minnesota ROKKR's number one priority was to continue their relationship with Attach. Then, Bance, Cammy, and Afro fell into place to complete the team's 2023 roster. The revamped Minnesota ROKKR roster features an impactful group–most of whom performed well from a K/D ratio standpoint last season.
While some believe Cammy had a down season, he has shown flashes of brilliance in the past, and has immense upside. Attach, Afro, and Bance finished the 2023 season with a 1.13, 1.01, and 0.92 K/D ratio, according to Breaking Point. All in all, the Minnesota ROKKR roster looks outstanding on paper, and the team expects to win.
Here are the roles as defined by coach Loony during the press conference:
- Attach: Main AR
- Cammy: Flex
- Bance: SMG
- Afro: SMG
Lastly, Brett Diamond stated that the team would split time between Minnesota and Dallas, especially during the cold winter season. It will be interesting to see how this roster performs in Modern Warfare 2. Undoubtedly, there's no shortage of talent for the Minnesota ROKKR squad.
