The NICKMERCS skin arrives in Call of Duty on May 31!

It’s a historic moment for the Call of Duty series, as popular content creator Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff has revealed his in-game skin. This collaboration marks the first time the series has featured a steamer in-game, taking a page out of Fortnite’s book. NICKMERCS and his community, the MFAM, are represented well in this crossover.

The bundle goes live on May 31, and here is a look at everything offered in the crossover.

NICKMERCS x Call of Duty bundle pays homage to the creator’s spartan branding

The NICKMERCS skin in Call of Duty follows the likes of John Rambo, Leatherface, Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr, and NBA superstar Kevin Durant. While a unique collection, the popular first-person shooter (FPS) has expanded beyond the Call of Duty League (CDL) and original skin designs.

Adding NICKMERCS to the fold allows other creators to follow suit. Kolcheff, a part-owner of FaZe Clan and creator of a recognizable brand, is one of the top streamers on Twitch. His Call of Duty skin draws inspiration from the MFAM spartan logo.

The character model sports a spartan helmet and armor with black and red coloring, giving it the ultimate brute look. Upon closer inspection, it is clear that NICKMERCS is the face beneath the helmet. The MFAM logo sees good representation, appearing on the side of the gun, on the magazine, and as a separate weapon charm.

Who is NICKMERCS?

NICKMERCS started his career as a professional Gears of War player, eventually winning the National Championship in 2009. Since then, Kolcheff has made a name in games such as Halo, Call of Duty, Fortnite, and Apex Legends–a jack of all trades.

Following the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone in 2020, Kolcheff became a go-to viewing experience for many. NICKMERCS streamed Call of Duty's Battle Royale to thousands of viewers alongside fellow creators Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar, Kris “Swagg” Lamberson, Dennis “Cloakzy” Lepore, and Guy “DrDisrespect” Beahm.

More recently, Kolcheff turned pro in Apex Legends, where he spends most of his time on stream. However, he returned to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 to pursue the ever-elusive Nuke. NICKMERCS bolsters impressive numbers across all platforms; 4 million YouTube subscribers, 2 million Twitter followers, 6.7 million on Twitch, and much more.

The NICKMERCS bundle goes live in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on May 31. You can unlock the skin by updating your game to update 3.5 and visiting the operator tab in-game.
