The OpTic Legacy Match will put current pros of OpTic Texas against former pros of the OpTic Dynasty, in a showmatch for the ages.

OpTic Gaming has announced a showcase series that they are calling the Legacy Match. It will be the current OpTic Texas roster taking on an OpTic Dynasty team.

The event is scheduled for October 12, 2024 and have live attendance at the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas. During the event, expect several side events like meet and greets, 1v1 opportunities, and more.

Everything we know about the OpTic Texas vs. OpTic Dynasty Legacy Match

The event itself is sponsored by Cash App. And it looks to be a YouTube exclusive. That means the official OpTic Gaming YouTube channel is the only place you'll be able to catch the action live, unless you plan on attending in-person.

Tickets are on sale now and you can get in with General Admission for just $10. That is the only option, as there is nothing available for VIP or any preferred seating prices.

Doors to the venue open at 3 p.m. local time, and it is all ages. This is the very first time an inner OpTic battle between Texas and the Dynasty squads have happened.

We can only assume the game will happen on MW3, or perhaps they'll get early access to Black Ops 6. It would be pretty awesome to see them on a past iteration of Call of Duty, however the game they're playing on is yet to be announced.

As you can guess, OpTic Texas is the CDL roster of players. Dynasty brings in former COD pros that rose to fame as OpTic Gaming members. Here are the teams as of now:

OpTic Texas
OpTic Dynasty
Anthony "Shotzzy" Cuevas-Castro
Seth "Scump" Abner
Brandon "Dashy" Otell
Matthew "FormaL" Piper
Amer "Pred" Zulbeari
Ian "Crimsix" Porter
Kenneth "Kenny" Williams
Damon "Karma" Barlow

Expect appearances by other members of OpTic Gaming, including the owner and CEO, Hector "H3CZ" Rodriguez. It is not often we get to see a mix of past and present when it comes to esports player and organizations. This should be a good one.
