The 2025 CS2 calendar kicks off with BLAST's Bounty Spring event in late January, but first, we need to determine which teams will attend. The BLAST Bounty Spring Closed Qualifier will do just that, with a whopping 32 teams whittled down to eight for the LAN final.

The 32 teams will be seeded into a single elimination bracket. The top 16 with bounties will be sorted into one side of a match. Then, starting from the next-highest seed, the team picks which of the top squads they'd like to face.

Each match is a best-of-three with no second chances. Win two best-of-threes and the team packs their bags for Denmark for the final. Lose one and it's game over.

BLAST Bounty uses a unique system for dishing out its prize pool. Teams earn a bounty based on how many wins they record and their seeding as they progress through the qualifier and the main event. Defeating a higher seeded team means a higher payout, and with lower-seeded teams able to select their opponents, there's an added incentive for squads to test themselves for a bigger prize.

The top eight move forward to the LAN playoffs in Copenhagen on Jan. 23.
