Copenhagen Flames has been looking to sell its roster. Complexity is reportedly in advanced talks to sign the Danish squad.

The Danish team of Copenhagen Flames is set to transfer its roster to Complexity according to latest reports.

After a strong performance at the PGL Stockholm Major, Copenhagen Flames (CPHF) is in advanced talks to transfer its players to Complexity Gaming according to reports by Jaxon.gg and esportsfire.

Reports indicate the players are negotiating their individual contracts and talks are in an advanced stage. Complexity is one of the most prominent organizations in CS:GO, but has not found success in recent years. The org benched a few players last month but reassured fans of its commitment to CS:GO.

CPHF has been on the lookout for a new home for its players after the Major. The Danish organization had a good run in the CS:GO Major going undefeated in the Challengers Stage. Copenhagen Flames breached the top ten last month, ranked 9th at one point in time. But some lackluster post-Major results means the team is now ranked 14th, still a meteoric rise from earlier this year.

Even before PGL Stockholm Major, Copenhagen Flames’ 5-0 run at the IEM Fall tournament raised quite a few eyebrows. Despite the Bo1 format of the tournament providing some help to this performance, CPHF defeated some big names including G2 esports, Mousesports and BIG.

After their IEM Fall and PGL Stockholm Major performance, the players and the team were reportedly approached by multiple teams. The players decided to stick together and reach new heights. The road ahead seems to lead to the Gamestop Performance Center in Dallas.

The Dallas-based organization parted ways with Kristian “k0nfig” Wienecke, Valentin “poizon” Vasilev, and Benjamin “blameF” Bremer. K0nfig and blameF have since joined the Astralis roster and are currently playing in the IEM Winter tournament. Poizon is reportedly in talks to sign with SKADE.

If Complexity signs the CPHF roster, it would need to find a suitable coach. CPHF’s coach, Pita is now in Dignitas, joining his former teammates as they attempt to build their legacy.
