Beastcoast stomps BOOM and qualifies for Riyadh Masters 2024

Game 2 was so short we were still making pop corn when the GG was called.

Beastcoast vs BOOM was the match to watch for Riyadh Masters SA Closed Qualifiers. The wolves were not only the second most successful South American team when it came to international participation. They also were facing a team that had attended only one tournament for the whole year: Games of Future.

What's shocking about this series is the result: A second game that finished in 13 minutes and 24 seconds. This is not only the shortest game of the South American closed qualifiers, but also the shortest across all regions. Therefore, beating the sixteen-minute record set by 1win against Nemiga.

As a matter of fact, Beastcoast beat BOOM twice to qualify to Riyadh Masters 2024. The first one was for the upper brackets semifinals, which also ended with a 2-0 score. So this shocking result is actually something many may have predicted. But nobody expected Christian "Pakazs" Savina to abandon the match before the fourteen-minute mark, making this an early GG.

BOOM sees Pakazs quit the game against Beastcoast: Riyadh Masters 2024

Just recently, Sacred and DarkMago joined BOOM, aiming to dominate the closed qualifiers. But the team's lane phase didn't go as planned. This resulted in a very complicated game for Pakazs' Morphling, leading to what the community is calling a "rage-quit".

On the other hand, Beastcoast has been showing a good performance recently. It was only a matter of time until they started showing results, and they managed to make it happen just for the highest paying tournament of the year.

Beastcoast performance was also noted by Heroic's assistant coach, Mangusu. Even when their victory score was also a 2-0, it was a good display of strategy and skill by the runner-ups.

Also, ggs to Beastcoast.
They improved so much, played well and their moves were the best I've seen all the qualifiers this year. Hyped to see if they can beat BOOM again.
