Berlin Major standings - Group Stage

Berlin Major eliminations include SA's king, beastcoast

The first team to exit the tournament is North America's TSM. They failed to secure any series wins and dropped to bottom place in Group A. The next two teams to join TSM were Southeast Asia's Execration and China's Invictus Gaming.

Not long after, Berlin Major dropped three more teams. Team SMG, led by 3-time Major winner Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng, only scraped a series win off of Invictus Gaming. This result placed SMG in the elimination zone of Group B. In Group A, BetBoom Team was the final team to crash and fall. Despite a good start to their run, BetBoom slowly lost their flow and tumbled out of the three-way tiebreakers against Team Aster and Evil Geniuses.

While most of these eliminations were not very shocking, beastcoast's early departure is unexpected. The South American top seed struggled in a lot of matches, only finishing with a series win against Xtreme Gaming and numerous draws and losses.

This is an odd outcome as beastcoast usually holds a great record on international LANs. The organization has scored a top 6 placement at the ESL One Stockholm Major and PGL Arlington Major in 2022. The team also placed top 8 at TI11.

However, they began to plunge and placed 9th-12th at the 2023 Lima Major. At the ongoing Berlin Major, they failed to survive the grueling Group Stage. Beastcoast joins the rest of the eliminated teams, returning home with no prize money or DPC points.
