BetBoom Team offlaner Pure will be taking a break and moves to the inactive roster ahead of 2024 Dota 2 season.
BetBoom Team is heading into the new season with a slight change in their roster. After one year together, the team will say goodbye to their offlaner as Ivan "Pure" Moskalenko moves into the inactive roster.
Vanya Pure~ takes a little break
He'll focus on resting and taking care of his health, and closer to the start of next season, we'll certainly be back with more updates
According to the announcement on X, Pure will not be playing in the next Dota 2 season as he is taking a break. The organization also promised more updates regarding its new player as we get closer to the start of next season. The announcement will probably come after New Year or before BetBoom Dacha 2024 which will be happening in early February.
Pure was one of the players recruited in late 2021 during the start of the 2023 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC). In the beginning, he took on the carry role until he switched position with Nightfall before DPC Tour 3. Since then, he continued playing as the offlaner.
As of now, there are no confirmations on Pure's future team and BetBoom Team's new offlaner.

BetBoom Team in 2023
BetBoom Team is one of the top teams in the East European region. They ended up in the top three for all three DPC tours, where they won first place in the first tour. Unfortunately, the team went on disappointing runs during the Dota 2 Majors. The highlights of the BetBoom Team were during both DreamLeague Season 20 and Season 21, where they ended up among the top three in both tournaments.
During the season, the BetBoom Team has been thrust under the spotlights multiple times by Pure. One significant event was when the BetBoom Team had to continue playing with Resolut1on instead of Pure in the Bali Major. Pure was caught viewing the event's Twitch stream during the paused match against Tundra Esports. He was then disqualified for the remainder of the event due to the violation of the tournament rule.
Later on in The International 2023, Pure was once again the subject of attention. He typed a question mark ("?") during the BetBoom Team's match against Azure Ray. The BetBoom-Azure Ray rivalry was tied to the Bali Major incident. Azure Ray's member was said to refuse to play against the BetBoom Team if Pure was not disqualified from the event following the incident.
The Dota 2 pro scene next year is still a blanket of mystery for the rest of us as the DPC system has been dismantled. Despite that, teams are getting ready for the upcoming season with all the roster changes. As of now, the current roster of the BetBoom Team is:
- Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko
- Danil "gpk" Skutin
- [To be determined]
- Vitalie "Save-" Melnic
- Alexander "TORONTOTOKYO" Khertek
