RAMZES666 has revived a long-dead team name together with his fellow CIS Rejects.
The CIS region just got another major contender as a stacked new roster featuring Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev and Artsiom “fng” Barshak hits the DPC registration website. Escorenews.com Reporter and Editor Polina Mashina was the first to spot the newly formed team on the official Dota 2 Majors Registration page.
The lineup sees RAMZES666 revive the CIS Rejects name—a mantle he last played under in 2015, before signing with Team Secret. He’s joined by former Alliance player fng, former Natus Vincere players Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosian and Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov, and Gleb "depressed kid" Zyryanov, who recently had stints on Team Empire and Team Unique.

The CIS Rejects lineup has a lot of tier one DPC-level talent, and definitely lives up to its name. Ramzes, 9pasha, and RodjER found themselves on the inactive list of Na’Vi after a disappointing DPC season. Instead, Na’Vi took a risk on a Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev-backed lineup in a last-ditch attempt for TI10 qualification.
Meanwhile, fng was summarily dropped from Alliance on October 21st, after their own disappointing TI10 run. Gleb "depressed kid" Zyryanov has been grinding out the DPC CIS Lower Divisions. Ultimately, this team will have to battle through the qualifications to even have a chance in the upcoming DPC season. However, with a solid lineup with some big names, the CIS Rejects will have a chance at success.
