Kid Invoker, Wasp Weather, Monkey Witch Doctor and Glitchy Lycan are part of the new Chest of Endless Days
Battle Pass may be in the seemingly distant future, but if you just can’t wait to crack open some chests, Valve has you covered with The Chest of Endless Days. The new Dota 2 treasure was unveiled today, featuring 13 new hero sets.
The chest will drop randomly for players as they take part in Matchmaking, but keys are required, meaning you’ll have to purchase them to unlock the treasure. Keys are $2.49, and can be purchased in the in-game store.

The heroes with new sets are Luna, Templar Assassin, Weaver, Natures Prophet, Viper, Drow Ranger, Wraith King, Pangolier, Winter Wyvern, Lycan, Witch Doctor, Hoodwink, and Invoker.
To make things easy for you, we’ve listed all the sets below. All are common rarity unless otherwise listed:
- Madness if the Amaranth Orb Luna
- Faceless Destiny Templar Assassin
- Vespoid Stalker Weaver
- Prolific Planter Nature’s Prophet
- Toll of the Netherblight Viper
- Discipline of the Dark Star Drow Ranger
- Unholy Harvest Wraith King
- Foxtail Libertine Pangolier
- Polar Night Winter Wyvern
- Requiem for Red Wolf Clan Lycan
- Servant of the Sightless Shamans Monkey King (Rare)
- Scourge of the Skyrangers Hoodwink (Very Rare)
- Heir of Menace Invoker (Ultra Rare)
These are some great sets overall, but our favorites include the wasp-like Weaver skin, Nature’s Prophet’s tomato-looking Treants, and Pangolier’s fabulous masquerade getup. And creepy Kid Invoker of course.
But the set rollout hasn’t been without issues, as Lycan’s set shows. A big “Error” graphic is visible in-game currently, instead of whatever his transformation is supposed to look like. But this minor error will surely be wrapped up soon.
With chests that can be earned in-game the Chest of Endless Days is a great little treasure to tide players over until the Dota 2 Battle Pass drops later this year. Remember, Battle Pass is starting later and ending later this year, so things like this are what we’ll have to make do with until then!
