Falcons vs BetBoom DreamLeague Season 22: Falcons remain unbeaten

The Falcons vs BetBoom match on March 4 will determine which team gets closer to topping the second group stage. So far, both teams have been undefeated in the second group stage and will come into this series wanting to pull ahead. Here’s all you need to know about the Falcons vs BetBoom match during DreamLeague Season 22.

Team Falcons got a second pick Rubick along with Batrider next. Both teams have had a similar drafting style and for the most part similar heroes for certain players in the same roles. Here's the Game 1 Draft.

The draft was not really surprising, except maybe Save on Pugna. However, for the most part, the draft wasn't throwing up any big surprises and it was upto the players to see how they can extract the maximum from the laning stage.

The early laning stage saw Skiter focus heavily on farming allowing him to take a substantial lead over Nightfall in the Networth department. Even though it did feel like he was jungling a lot more, the equality in the Networth meant that Skiter would reach a peak much earlier than Nightfall, simply judging by their hero choices.

After a relatively even early game, Team Falcons built on their lead and continued to dominate over their opponents. After some point, most of the heroes on BetBoom were simply paper for Skiter, who would two-shot them.

The second game saw Falcons pick up the razor and Kunka. But this time they also had an Alchemist to help them towards their goal. With an Alchemist on the team, the networth was always going to be skewed in favor of the Dire team.

After a short farming period, with their relative strength compared to their opponents, Falcons began to take serious objectives all around the map. Consolidating on their strengths, Team Falcons was able to weed out any farming resources for BetBoom. despite an OD, Terrorblade, and Centaur, BetBoom were mostly on the backfoot. Eventually, Falcons won the game and with it secured a 2-0 victory in the series.

With this victory, Falcons are 4-0, the only team to still remain undefeated in the second Group Stage. At this point, they are all but guaranteed to ensure a playoffs spot. However, they still have three more matches to go - against Shopify Rebellion, Xtreme Gaming and Aurora.

Both teams are undefeated so far in the second group stage. With a 3-0 score for both teams, this series will determine which team takes the lead. Even though both teams have been dominant so far in the last few days, their strategy and approach to the game has  been slightly different.

BetBoom has had a different first pick in all eight games in the first Group Stage. The diversity in their draft is something that sets them apart from the other teams. BetBoom requires momentum to ensure that they snowball into the late game. In this tournament so far, BetBoom has mostly been on the backfoot in the early to mid game. Even in the games they win, BetBoom looked like they were all set to lose right up until the last minute in some time.

Meanwhile, Falcons has a first-pick DK and surprise you with their weird last-picks. So with Falcons, they are sort of predictable in the early game. It’s the late game when they surprise you with their weird strategies. 

The outcome of this match will depend heavily on the draft. With different drafting strategies, it will be interesting to see how both teams approach this series.
