MidOne unexpectedly returns to the tier one scene as a stand-in for Tundra Esports.
PGL Wallachia Season 2 is the next big event that will follow the conclusion of The International 13 (TI13). With only two weeks of the off-season, many teams scrambled to form new rosters. Like many other teams, Tundra Esports has gone for two stand-ins. The team will field MidOne and Shad throughout their run in PGL Wallachia S2.
MidOne and Shad will play for Tundra in PGL Wallachia S2
It has been a while since we saw MidOne in the tier-one competitive scene. The legendary Malaysian midlaner was among the most dominant players, especially thriving during his time with Team Secret. Shad, on the other hand, is an up-and-coming carry player in the region. He had a lot of impressive runs with notable names like Vikin.gg, Into The Breach, and D2 Hustlers.
Tundra Esports will play with MidOne and Shad in the upcoming PGL Wallachia S2. Both players will play alongside the official members - 33, Saksa, and Whitemon.

Tundra Esports' new roster for the 2024/2025 season
Among all the top-performing teams at The International 13, Tundra is one of the juggernauts hit with the biggest roster shuffle. Its previous lineup, which achieved an impressive top-4 placement at TI13, has mostly departed, leaving only Whitemon and Saksa. Here are the players who left Tundra Esports after TI ended:
Tundra Esports' current official roster for the new season is as follows:

At the time of writing, 9Class - who missed TI13 due to VISA issues and was replaced by Saksa - is still officially in the Tundra Esports lineup. However, he will not play with Tundra in PGL Wallachia S2.
Tundra Esports also recently announced the addition of Saika (also known as Nightfall) to the team. He will assume the carry position, filling in his former teammate's shoes. In the midlane, Tundra picks up Lorenof who previously played for Aurora. Both of these players will likely begin playing with the team after PGL Wallachia ends.
PGL Wallachia S2 is set to begin on October 4th where 16 teams compete in an offline setting in Romania. In this tournament, teams will compete for a slice of the $1 million prize pool.
