OG Dota 2 roster shuffle: Misha and Chu swap roles for Tour 2 DPC
OG tweaks its Dota 2 roster following a rough first season. Pos 5, Misha, and team coach, Chuvash, swap roles for Tour 2 DPC.
The Western European (WEU) powerhouse, OG Esports, confirms roster changes ahead of Tour 2 DPC, swapping the roles of Misha and Chuvash (also known as Chu). The position five and captain will claim his old post, and Chu will officially play for OG, starting next season.
Here is the complete roster of OG for Tour 2 DPC:
- Artem "Yuragi" Golubiev
- Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov
- Dmitry "DM" Dorokhin
- Tommy "Taiga" Le
- Evgenii "Chuvash" Makarov
- Mikhail "Misha" Agatov (Coach)
Misha released a statement to address the roster change. The 25-year-old player talked about his passion for coaching and how he had enjoyed it. "I did not feel like I was able to transform all of this into the game, either with calls or personal plays. I thought a lot about it, and could not ignore the moments when I coached before. I enjoyed it so much, and I felt like all my Dota knowledge was used to 100%."
Misha feels like he brings more impact as a coach as he can help with the team's practice and draft better. "I feel like we will be so much stronger if I can help structure the practice process, talk about how to improve the game, help the team, and take care of drafts, etc."

The new-generation OG had a spectacular debut year in 2022 - winning two tier-1 events and dominating the regional leagues. However, this year sees a rougher start for the team.
OG performed well in WEU for the first regional league, only suffering three series losses. But their performance wasn't enough to secure them a direct invite to the Lima Major. OG had to clash in three-way tiebreakers against Tundra Esports and Entity. Unfortunately, the team fell short and missed out on the two final slots and settled in 5th place, securing only 30 DPC points. This placement sees OG sit back from the first Dota 2 Major of the year.
Heading into the next season, OG announced a roster change. Chu will play for OG as their new position 5, meanwhile, Misha returns to coaching.

Chu, also known as Chuvash, has been a coach in OG since this roster was first iterated. He last played professionally under Creepwave, alongside teammates Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf and Remco "Crystallis" Arets. Last year, he secured an impressive win as a player when he had to stand in for Misha.
In 2022, Misha faced constant VISA issues which barricaded him from playing with his team at international LAN events. This called for stand-ins which happened to be Sébastien "Ceb" Debs during ESL One Stockholm Major and Chu during ESL One Malaysia. OG showed great chemistry with Chu as they went on to win the championship, taking down Team Aster in the grand finals.
With Misha back in the coaching position and Chu assuming the position 5 role, OG embarks into Tour 2 with a fresh yet familiar look.
