Patch 7.33 adds a fourth attribute in Dota 2 called the Universal attribute.
In Patch 7.33, Valve did the unthinkable and added a fourth attribute in Dota 2. This attribute is called "Universal" and a lot of heroes are re-categorized to now bear this attribute.
"As the fourth spirit brother we’d released, Void Spirit shouldn’t have been a Strength, Agility, or Intelligence hero. To stand apart, he really should have been a new kind of hero. A fourth kind of hero," the update introduced.
What is the Universal attribute?
Universal is a new type of attribute in Dota 2 that was introduced in Patch 7.33. This attribute gives heroes 0.7 damage (Patch 7.33c) from each stat of any attribute. Universal heroes do not have a Primary Attribute and instead get benefits from all attributes. Valve has re-categorized existing heroes and 31 heroes now fall under the new category.
