Post-TI11 Dota 2 Roster Tracker Mega-thread: (Updated) Latest player moves and transfers

Every year after The International comes to an end, Dota 2 teams start changing up their rosters. TI11 is not yet over and we have already started seeing some orgs announcing changes to their roster. We will keep you updated with all the Dota 2 roster changes in this article. The post-TI11 Dota 2 roster tracker article is updated regularly.

Legendary org, T1 esports failed to qualify for TI11 via the Last Chance qualifier. The team finished 5-6th - well short of the top 2 required to play at TI.

T1 esports added the legendary Ana to their Dota 2 roster in preparation for TI11. But after their failure to qualify, the team has already started unveiling changes. March will be parting ways with the team. A major reason for Ana joining the roster was March. The coach's departure is sure to set things in motion in the org.

Besides March, Xepher, the position 4 player for the org has also announced he is looking for a new team for the upcoming season. 

On the penultimate day of the TI Grand Finals, Gaimin Gladiators announced they are parting ways with Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan. The 29-year-old joined the team in February earlier in the year and played the mid-role on the team. Gaimin Gladiators lost to OG in the lower bracket round 2, finishing in the 9-12th place at TI11.

The face that was all over the place at TI11 now finds himself in search for a new team. Daryl "iceiceice" Koh is no longer part of Team SMG. He joined the team in August after parting ways with Team Secret, however, as is the case with the Dota 2 calendar year, he has not played a lot of games with the team.

Why you ask? Well, firstly, the team failed to register for the TI11 qualifiers. The SEA based org's failure to register for the qualifiers meant they ended up not able to even attend the qualifiers. The org had also provided a statement apologizing for their actions (or rather, lack of it).

Evil Geniuses is reportedly looking to exit North American Dota. The TI5 winners have fielded a Dota 2 roster from the region and has been one of the strongest teams in NA. However, with declining Dota 2 interest in North America, EG is looking to acquire a South American roster.

BOOM esports support player Timothy "TIMS" Randrup is looking for a new org for the upcoming season. As is the case with most Dota 2 pros, his contract with the SEA org is coming to an end post-TI and he is on the lookout for a new team.

With Tims, BOOM esports won the Gamers Galaxy Thailand event. The team also finished first in DPC Tour 1 and 3, with a second place finish in Tour 2. DPC Tour 2 saw Fnatic finish first.

Soniqs entered the Dota 2 scene by signing the Quincy Crew roster - one of the best North America has to offer. The org helped the players through TI with bootcamp and providing them additional facilities. However, Soniqs did not perform well at TI11, finishing 17-18th, eliminated in the group stage itself.

This has been the formula for many esports orgs in Dota 2, where they pick up a roster just before TI to represent them on the grandest stage of them all. However, if the org does not perform well at TI, the contracts run out and orgs have been known to drop their rosters soon after. The Dota 2 esports scene in North America is at a dangerous precipice with EG also looking to field a South American roster for next year - reports suggest they might pick up the Thunder Awaken squad.

Speaking of South America, SG esports has also parted ways with its Dota 2 roster as their contracts have come to an end. Dota 2 pro contracts usually last till the end of TI which is when the annual post-TI roster shuffle takes place. The SG epsorts players are now on the lookout for a new org.

Despite promising performances in the DPC South Americas Tour, SG esports failed to qualify for TI11, which is the ultimate goal for many players. However, as a roster, the squad has displayed immense potential finishing 2nd in the BTS Pro Series Americas amongst other notable results.

Director of Quincy Crew, Jack 'KBBQ' Chen is on the lookout for new players for a 'special project'. Details of this project are not yet public knowledge, but with a track record that Jack has, this roster is sure to impress. KBBQ has aided Quincy Crew reach new heights in North American Dota, often being a part of the team's rise, sometimes even above Evil Geniuses in the region.

Talon esports has announced it is parting ways with Damien "kpii" Sau-jing and Brizio "Hyde" Budiana. Talon esports did not have a good showing at TI11, exiting the touranment after the group stage. The team finished the group stage with a 2-2-5 score taking it to a tie-breaker series versus Entity. They lost to Entity and faced an early elimination from the event.

In a tweet, Kpii announced he is looking for a new team and has not ruled out coaching either.

Betboom have announced they are parting ways with their Dota 2 roster. The announcement comes after a poor performance at TI11, which was well below expectations from the team.

The statement also mentions Betboom will field another Dota 2 roster which basically confirms their involvement in Dota 2 esports.

Jabz parted ways with Fnatic after his contract expired with the SEA team. Soon after, Talon esports announced his addition to the roster, bolstering their Dota 2 squad for the upcoming season.

TI11 winner, Sneyking has hinted at Bleed esports' Dota 2 entry. Tundra esports boot camped at the Bleed esports facilities prior to their TI11 campaign. Obviously, things turned out amazing for them as they won the tournament.

Bleed esports is set to buy T1's DPC slot as per an AFKGaming report. T1 esports has a Dota 2 team in the SEA division. Despite decent results, they were not as relevant on the international scale. We still don't know if this means T1 esports will leave the Dota 2 scene.

Gaimin Gladiators have announced they are parting ways with their coach. Well known for his Dota 2 guides, ImmortalFaith also runs a tight leash as the coach. It's still unclear what his future plans are.

One of the most iconic NA orgs, Evil Geniuses has announced it is parting ways with its Dota 2 roster. The EG Dota 2 roster comprised the following players:

What's next for EG? There are reports of EG picking up the former Thunder Predator roster. This news has not been confirmed as of November 15, 2022. EG CEO, hinted at the impact South American Dota 2 has on the scene. But she has not yet announced any signings yet.

A few SA Dota 2 news today - SG esports ceased operations while Thunder Esports announced its mid lane for DPC 2023

SG esports has been a staple in the South American scene for the past few months. The organization has announced it is leaving the Dota 2 scene today.

Thunder Awakening has announced its new mid lane for DPC 2023. Ricardo "Alone" Fernandez is the team's new mid laner.

The player has competed for several orgs earlier such as Infamous, EgoBoys, Infinity esports and more.

After a long wait, BOOM Esports unveils its full lineup. The org retained some of its old players and announced surprising new arrivals:

xNova marks his return to the SEA region after 5 years playing in China. He has valuable experience from former teams such as PSG.LGD which saw remarkable achievements, making his entry to BOOM even more exciting!

In a surprise turn of events, Team Secret parted ways with their carry player. Nisha, undoubtedly one of the best Dota 2 players in the world will no longer play alongside Puppey and co.

Secret also released a YouTube video to commemmorate Nisha's time on Team Secret.

With Nisha's departure, there was a gap to fill for Team Secret and they have chosen BOOM to join their ranks for the upcoming season. Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan last competed for Gaimin Gladiators and has been crucial in Gaimin Gladiator's success in the past.

Team Aster, Tundra esports, Team Secret and Team Liquid made it to the top four. Tundra Esports won the event after a dominating playoffs run including a 3-0 victory over Team Secret in the Grand finals. The TI11 playoffs saw some quality Dota 2 action with thousands of fans in attendance at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. Esports.gg had exclusive coverage at TI11. The tournament is also the final time Dota 2 fans will see some iconic players in attendance, including Somnus, Faith_bian and Matumbaman.
