Twisted Minds Dota 2 roster revealed: Joins WEU stacked qualifiers

Will the farmers make it to Riyadh Masters?

Self defined as the "fastest growin esports brand in MENA", Twisted Minds is quickly becoming an organization to follow. Previously, the team based in Saudi Arabia signed a CS2 and Overwatch team. With the upcoming Esports World Cup, the new Twisted Minds Dota 2 roster is expected to take them to Riyadh Masters.

The team is a new iteration of Rest Farmers, a stack based on Pablo and Handsken. This support duo has been playing together for a long time, having represented popular organizations like "The Alliance".

Meet Twisted Minds Dota 2 roster:

  • Indji "Shad" Lub (Hard carry)
  • Elliott "Adzantick" Hammond (Midlaner)
  • Denis "StoneBank" Korzh (Offlaner)
  • Axel "Pablo" Källman (Soft support)
  • Simon "Handsken" Haag (Hard support)

The new addition to the team is their offlaner, StoneBank. Before joining them, he used to play for B8, Dendi's EEU stack. The team played their last tournament together (before getting signed by Twisted Minds) with Ivan "MinD_ContRoL" Ivanov, who is now playing for Shopify Rebellion.

Twisted Minds Dota 2 rivals for this closed qualifiers

The ex-Rest Farmers are playing the WEU closed qualifiers for Riyadh Masters 2024, and will have the chance to play for one of the two slots available. Some of the strongest teams of the region are already qualified through the EPT point system, leaving the following opponents still on the run:

  • Team Secret (Invited)
  • Entity (Invited)
  • MOUZ (Invited)
  • NaVi Jr. (Invited)
  • Dandelion (Invited)
  • Twisted Minds (Invited)
  • Dragon Esports (Open Qualifiers)
  • Just Better (Open Qualifiers)

Riyadh Masters 2024 is the name of the Dota 2 competition that is now part of the Esports World Cup. This year's prize pool is the astonishing amount of five million dollars. However, the organizers announced a separate prize pool for qualifiers—another $5M distributed among the seven competing regions. This means that the Twisted Minds Dota 2 roster could still earn prize money if they don't qualify.

Twisted Minds have not announced any other tournaments they are planning to play. Stay tuned to esports.gg for more Dota 2 updates!
