Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Season 2

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is officially returning for a second season on Netflix. The upcoming installment will be a stand-alone sequel consisting of 10 episodes, once again set in the gritty and vibrant world of Night City. Studio Trigger and CD Projekt Red are teaming up once more, with Kai Ikarashi directing the new season. Notably, Wendee Lee joins the production as the English dub casting director.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will return for another season in 2026. The production of Season 3 was announced in June 2024, right after Season 2 finished airing.

Daemons of the Shadow Realm

Yomi no Tsugai (Daemons of the Shadow Realm) is set to receive an anime adaptation in 2026. The series, which has released nine volumes since its debut in 2021, follows the story of Yuru and Asa, twins who were separated from a young age and must make their way back to each other.

The artist behind the manga is Hiromu Arakawa, known for her work on Fullmetal Alchemist. The new anime will be produced by Studio Bones, famous for producing Boku no Hero Academia.

Fist of the North Star

A new CG anime remake of Fist of the North Star is currently in production to commemorate the series' 40-year anniversary, with a release planned for 2026. As a result, Warner Bros. Japan Anime is producing the remake. In addition, it aims to deliver a more faithful adaptation of Buronson and Tetsuo Hara’s original manga, therefore bringing the iconic post-apocalyptic saga back to life with modern animation.
