Hunter Schafer reportedly being eyed to play Zelda in live-action movie adaptation

Everyone loves a good video game to movie adaptation, however, many have failed in the past. Still, with the live-action Legend of Zelda movie being confirmed for a few years now, many fans are anticipating a fantasy/action-packed adaptation to hit the big screen. While there has still been no cast, it is being reported that the popular actress, Hunter Schafer, is being eyed to play Zelda in the movie.

There are plenty of actresses out there who could pull off the role of Zelda in a proper live-action film, however, no one looks the part as much as Hunter Schafer. The actress, first made popular in the HBO show Euphoria, is reportedly being eyed to play the role of the infamous princess.

There have been various reports, though, that Zelda will be a teenager in the adaptation, which would more than likely throw out the rumors that Schafer is being eyed to play the character, as the actress is 26 at the moment and does not necessarily have the looks of a teenager.

Still, if this rumor of Zelda being a teenager is false or just a maybe, then we could very certainly see Schafer acquire this role. Not too much information has been released about The Legend of Zelda movie, other than the fact that it will release in 2027. Fans will, unfortunately, just have to wait until more information is released.
