AT&T just announced the five-year anniversary of its AT&T Annihilator Cup. The company also revealed details about the 2025 iteration of the tournament, which will involve a new format plus an in-person finale happening at the 100 Thieves Compound in Los Angeles.

AT&T Annihilator Cup 2025
The AT&T Annihilator Cup will kick off on May 1 and feature 20 content creators such as returning champion Doublelift, two-time winner Jake'n'Bake, plus Ludwig, EmilyyWang, and Sykkuno. These creators will compete across four titles, including CS2, League of Legends, Street Fighter 6, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
There will be streams every Thursday between 4 p.m. PT and 8 p.m. PT. until May 22, and fans will be able to tune in through AT&T’s Twitch channel and more than 28 other ones. This will include coverage from 2025 host AustinShow.
"Hosting the fifth anniversary of the AT&T Annihilator Cup is a big one. The new team format and stacked talent lineup should make this the most competitive year yet," AustinShow said, referring to how captains will draft five-person teams before the start of the competition. "I’m really looking forward to seeing how the captains build their squads and the strategies they bring to each game."

AT&T Annihilator Cup heads to 100 Thieves Compound
Everything will lead up to the aforementioned finale at the 100 Thieves Compound. This in-person event will include opportunities for fans to meet their favorite content creators as well. Sabina Ahmed, the assistant vice president of sponsorships and experiential at AT&T, shared that this will also be the AT&T Annihilator Cup's inaugural live finale.
"For five years, the AT&T Annihilator Cup has connected top gaming talent with their fans in an electrifying competition that showcases the best of gaming culture," Ahmed said. "This milestone year, we're taking connection to the next level by bringing fans directly into the experience with our first-ever live finale event."
According to AT&T, this year's event indicates the company's commitment to gaming and esports with “state-of-the-art connectivity provided by AT&T Fiber and 5G.”
