The Global Esports Federation has appointed Vatom CEO and founder Eric Pulier as the chair of the Digital Transformation Commission. The Entrepreneur accepted the position in his address to the UNESCO "Change the Game" Sport Conference in Paris.

Global Esports Federation appoints Eric Pullier as Digital Transformation Commission chair

Eric Pulier is a lifelong entrepreneur having founded various ventures at the cutting edge of technology. His latest venture, Vatom Inc., is an AI engagement platform and boasts some of the world's largest corporations as clients. As part of his new role, Pulier will chair the DTC, which "convenes leading members of the world's technology sector, bridging the understanding between esports, entertainment, technology, etc.

Vatom will also lead the Global Esports Federation's Office of the CTO, which powers its fan engagement platform. The company will also develop a new global token. The token will utilize the new NFFT format that "combined AI and embedded game designs".

Pulier announced that the Global Esports Federation, Vatom, and Interface Technologies (University of Cambridge) have committed to delivering technology and expertise for UNESCO's Fit for Life program. The program aims to accelerate COVID-19 recovery and support inclusive and integrated policymaking. It further aims to harness the power of gaming and sports. And to achieve measurable health benefits in schools across the world.

The announcement comes following the Olympic Esports Games which were officially approved a few days ago. Global Esports Federation features many national federations as members. GEF will continue to strive to enhance the credibility and prestige of esports. Most recently, the organization organized the GET Rio event, which was won by paiN Gaming.

As part of the UNESCO "Change The Game" conference ahead of the Paris Olympic Games, the Global Esports Federation convened the Global Impact Partners. GIPs are organizations that have committed to multi-million-dollar pledges extending to 2030. The list includes the aforementioned Vatom alongside Intel and Polynize, amongst others. The GEF also launched the Global Social Impact Initiative to mobilize the gaming community for social good.
