“When I feel the most comfortable, stronger gameplay naturally follows.”

The Secretlab InfinitePrecision Armrest was just announced alongside a new documentary showcasing its benefits for esports players. When paired with a Secretlab TITAN Evo chair, competitors gain complete control over their armrest setup for precise positioning. It features smooth height adjustments for optimal arm placement as well, which helps players stay focused on performance while being comfortable.

Review: Secretlab InfinitePrecision Armrest (On-Stage Standard)

We tested the armrests over a month during long office hours and gaming sessions. They proved easy to fine-tune and remained consistently comfortable throughout. The customization options were a big plus. Maintaining a precise, consistent arm height made a noticeable difference. With better control over positioning, muscle memory felt more reliable, especially in FPS gameplay where quick, accurate flicks and arm movements mattered.

In terms of setting everything up, installing the InfinitePrecision Armrest on our Secretlab TITAN Evo chair was straightforward. The process began with removing the existing armrests and chair levers. We then attached the InfinitePrecision armrests before flipping the chair upright again. The armrest tops then snapped into place magnetically on our Secretlab TITAN Evo.

Powered by easily accessible AAA batteries, each Secretlab InfinitePrecision Armrest came with a smart control layout featuring a height lever, power button, digital display, inner-side button, and a front button. The height lever adjusted smoothly and locked in place when released while the front button fine-tuned both the angle and front-to-back positioning. The inner-side button handled side-to-side adjustments. Finally, the power button activated the digital display. Overall, calibration was quick and intuitive thanks to the display providing precise feedback. Each 0.1 increment gave us pinpoint accuracy over our setup.

It was also great that once the armrests were customized, there was no need for constant adjustments. This impacted posture and aim, and the difference was noticeable. For esports players, simply remembering their display number would let them quickly set everything up the same way each time, and we can imagine that having an identical setup to practice sessions would add familiarity and consistency.

T1 on the Secretlab InfinitePrecision Armrest

In the Secretlab On-Stage Standard documentary, Ryu "Keria" Min-seok from T1, for example, noted how when he sets up his chair, he takes the utmost care into the height of the armrests. "During Worlds Finals 2023, I couldn't get that adjustment right, so there's a video of me constantly trying to adjust the armrests," he recalled.

Five-time League of Legends World Championship winner Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok shared his thoughts about tournament setups as well. To him, each venue presents differences in monitor setups, peripherals, and the overall environment. Nearby cameras, microphones, and a cheering crowd add to the pressure with thousands of eyes watching his play. If a setting doesn’t feel right, it can throw him off his game.

"When playing at the highest level, I need to remove uncertainties and be as precise as I can so I can fully focus on the game itself," he said. "Once the match begins, you can't think about the setup anymore, and you have to fully concentrate on the game."

Faker reiterated this point later in the documentary as well, revealing that he's quite particular about how his team's setups are configured. "Having full control over our setup means I can fully account for my specific needs and preferences," he said. "When I feel the most comfortable, stronger gameplay naturally follows."

The Secretlab On-Stage Standard and esports

According to the documentary, Secretlab also spent last year hosting feedback and testing sessions for the armrests with pro players and its competitive operations teams at Riot Games.

"The Secretlab On-Stage Standard is the first-ever set of competitive specifications that allow pro players to bring their exact setup from home to tournament with millimeter precision. The InfinitePrecision Armrest is exactly that — trying to make sure the user has the exact same armrest height every single time," Secretlab’s co-founder and CEO, Ian Ang, said.

Ang also described the Secretlab MAGPAD Desk Mat, which features numbered grids for precise placement of the keyboard, mouse, and monitor.

Keria explained that until now, he had relied on what felt right when setting up. Now, with exact numbers, he feels the setup process will be much smoother.

"Consistency isn't flashy, but over time, it becomes undeniable," Faker added. "Consistency in winning — that's how legends are born."
