Riot Games' 2XKO Alpha Lab 2 playtest kicks off in April. Read on for the 2XKO Alpha Lab 2 release date and time. We've also created a live 2XKO Alpha Lab 2 countdown.

The second 2XKO Alpha Lab playtest begins on April 18, 2025 and runs until April 20, 2025. This gives players three days to duke it out in Riot's fighting game. They can also learn how to play Jinx, who is the latest addition to the Alpha Lab roster.

Here is our live countdown to the 2XKO Alpha Lab 2 release date. Riot has not confirmed an exact release time yet. However, we'll update this article once that information becomes available.

Make sure to check your email about a week before 2XKO Alpha Lab 2 kicks off because that's when Riot starts sending out 2XKO Alpha Lab 2 invitations.

Speaking of getting access to the playtest, the player pool is smaller this time around. Unlike the first playtest, Alpha Lab 2 doesn't have referral links from friends.

Registration for the previous Alpha Lab grants you automatic registration for Alpha Lab 2. You can also sign up for a chance of getting into the playtest on Riot's official page for the game.

It's a good idea to check if your device can run 2XKO Alpha Lab 2 as well. The available Alpha Lab 2 platforms are only Windows PC and PlayStation 5.

"Xbox Series X|S is not selectable for first-time playtesters," Riot stated. "If you played on Xbox Series X|S during Alpha Lab 1 and are invited to Alpha Lab 2, you’ll be able to redownload the game from your console library."

In terms of the eligible regions, they only include the U.S., Canada, and Brazil this time around. The first Alpha Lab playtest included these regions plus the U.K., France, Japan, and Mexico.

Above are the minimum system requirements for Alpha Lab 2. It should be noted that these requirements may differ between the playtest and the game's official launch.
