Two of the biggest League characters have been confirmed for 2XKO.

The latest craze from Riot Games, 2XKO, has been exciting gamers all across the internet. The fighting game mixes Street Fighter and other fighting game elements with popular League of Legends characters. While not every popular League character has been confirmed for 2XKO, it looks as if Jinx and Katarina finally are.

Both Jinx and Katarina confirmed to be in 2XKO

2XKO is already looking to be one of the biggest fighting games out there. With League of Legends being massive, it would seem that many fans from both the fighting games community and League gamers will join together.

With many gamers beta-testing the new title, Riot Games has been getting loads of feedback on different characters and whether or not they need to be nerfed or buffed. Alongside that, we have also learned of quite a few characters that are set to be included in 2XKO.

With Jinx first appearing in the beta, many felt as if she was not powerful enough. This is a super popular character, so many expected quite a bit more from her. Luckily, Riot heard gamers' concerns.

"Like with anything, our bar is high. We had to take her back, we had to fix some stuff and make it way, way better," said Shaun Rivera, Game Director and Gameplay Design Lead of 2XKO, in a recent panel. "And so she's in the game, but you're not gonna see her for a little bit, right? And that's 'cause - I'm just asking - let us cook, right? But hopefully, when you do see her, you'll be like, 'It's worth the wait.'"

Let's hope this news about Jinx is true, and that the character joins the game as a top competitor.

Katarina to also join 2XKO

Rivera also made sure to make a few comments about whether or not Katarina was going to be joining the game. Spoiler alert: she is, just not right away.

"Katarina had a ton of mechanics, and we didn't feel like we were doing justice to her and how cool we could make her," said Rivera. "As a result, she is not going to be in it for the launch roster."

This comes right after Rivera explained that Katarina was one of the first characters developed for the game and had been a part of a trial-and-error with different abilities and skill sets.

While this comes as a blow for many players hoping to make Katarina (or Jinx) their main, it also just means that when the characters finally join the game, they will be cooler and stronger than ever.
