Wolverine, Danger, Magik, and Storm join the fighting game as playable characters. They form one of the five teams available on release.

When the world needs heroes, they come to save the day. The Unbreakable X-Men assembles in the game MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls — to deliver splashy moves and land their mighty common hits. Saving the world? This part should be unleashed in the story mode, which was confirmed for the upcoming release.

Four X-Men characters were announced via a wonderful trailer.

Episode Mode to experience the MARVEL Tōkon story

For this game specifically, Marvel and Arc System Works adapted the narrative, characters, and the world to tell us a story in Episode Mode. This experience "blends American comics and Japanese manga." A renowned writer from the original Marvel comics helped to build the world and the scenario.

Episode Mode sure is a welcome addition to MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls. It should give beginners to the genre a great way to dive into the game mechanics before hitting the multiplayer lobbies.
