Football Manager 25 finally has a release date. The latest edition of the iconic football management simulation will feature a huge overhaul to the systems engine.

As a result of this, FM25 is releasing a little bit later than we're used too. It will release globally across PC, PS5 and Xbox at the same time.

So, when does Football Manager 25 release and what can you expect when the game drops?

Football Manager 25 will release on Nov. 26 on PC, Xbox and Playstation 5. The Nintendo Switch version of Football Manager 25 Touch will release a bit later, on Dec. 3rd. The game should release at midnight GMT.

Over the last few years we've seen Football Manager typically release at the start of November, rather than the end. Miles Jacobsen outlined in September why the release of the game has had to be pushed back a few weeks.

In short, this was because of the huge challenges faced by the team due to the decision to move the game over to Unity engine. They say that this has been "trickier than anticipated." As a result they have pushed their timelines back to compensate.

However, you can still spend time grinding your current Football Manager 24 saves. Players across all editions of Football Manager 25 will be able to carry forward save games from their version of '24. To do so, you'll need to be playing on the same platform/console. So, don't be put off diving into your latest management journey only to have to abandon it when the new game releases.
