The Drum Gun will join the Fortnite Ballistic loot pool in the next update!

Fortnite Ballistic, a 5v5 tactical first-person game mode, launched on December 11, 2024. It immediately drew attention from players for its unique approach to the genre, offering a Counter-Strike-inspired experience. Ballistic remains in an "early access" period, but tomorrow's Fortnite v33.30 update brings some much-needed changes.

Here's everything you need to know about Fortnite Ballistic update v33.30.

What's new in Fortnite Ballistic v33.30?

The Drum Gun will officially join the Fortnite Ballistic loot pool on Jan. 31 for the first time, which will surely shake up the Ballistic game mode. Epic describes this weapon as perfect for close-to-mid-range skirmishes. It's far from a stealthy weapon, so using one makes you John Rambo.

You can either go full-automatic or control your bursts to minimize recoil, making the Drum Gun surprisingly versatile. The Drum Gun will be available for 3,500 Credits, which you can purchase through the buy menu.

It will be interesting to see how much this weapon changes the overall gameplay experience and if it's worth carrying in matches.

Significant balance and economy changes to Ballistic weapons

Many weapons will receive adjustments to their in-game cost and statistics in the update, including a pair of Shotguns and a Sniper Rifle.
