A leaked poster for the Fortnite Bleach collab has confirmed all four characters that will appear in-game. Here’s a look at that and more!
Bleach is the latest anime set to collab with Fortnite, adding another to the growing list. Epic Games began dropping teasers recently, but the details remained murky until an official poster circulated on social media. This advertisement confirmed all four Bleach characters who will appear in Fortnite as playable skins.
Here is a look at the leaked Fortnite x Bleach key art and all confirmed characters that are coming to the game.
The Fortnite Bleach collab features four characters
It was initially unclear who would appear in the Bleach collaboration. It seemed evident that the main character, Ichigo Kurosaki, would be the focal point of the crossover. However, a leak from FortniteJPNews, accompanied by a photo from X user NaNa1227YT, ended all speculation.
The leaked Fortnite Bleach collab key art appeared in a Japanese train station, confirming that four characters would become playable in Fortnite. Those include the following:
- Ichigo Kurosaki
- Rukia Kuchiki
- Orihime Inoue
- Uryū Ishida
As with most of the anime properties Fortnite has partnered with, this one is jam-packed. A minimum of four characters has become the standard with these types of collaborations. While the other cosmetics are unknown at this point, it's safe to say Ichigo's sword, Zangetsu, will be part of the collab.
When will this collaboration be in Fortnite?
The volume of Fortnite collaborations lately is staggering, from Kim Kardashian to content creator CouRageJD to Harry Potter. There is something for everyone amid the holiday season and the game's annual Winterfest event. Regarding the Bleach collab, the entire collection will arrive in Fortnite on Saturday, Dec. 20.
Epic Games confirmed this date in the teaser trailer posted to the official Fortnite X account on Dec. 14. Furthermore, we now know which characters will be the crossover's focal point. The last pieces of the puzzle are the accessories, such as Back Blings, Pickaxes, and more.
Those details should surface this week in the lead-up to Dec. 20. If history is any indication, this anime partnership will draw immense interest from the playbase and beyond.
