Fortnite Reload Solos has been confirmed!

Epic Games has officially revealed its intentions to add a Solos playlist to the wildly popular Fortnite Reload game mode. Following its debut this past June, players instantly flooded Reload for its high-octane gameplay, respawns, and OG feel. With Fortnite turning back the dial to Chapter 2 Remix this weekend, Fortnite Reload will soon add a Solos option to complement Duos and Squads.

When is Fortnite Reload Solos coming to the game?

Fortnite Reload Solos arrives on Nov. 2 alongside the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix season. The playlist should be available once downtime concludes and the game returns online. Epic's decision to add Solos means those looking to enjoy Fortnite Reload alone won't have to queue in by themselves or with random teammates in Squads or Duos.

That leaves just Trios as the odd man out as the developers continue supporting the popular game mode. Fortnite leaker HYPEX later added the following notes regarding Solos:

  • One respawn as a starter
  • Each elimination gives you a respawn slot, up to three max
  • Respawn gets disabled in late zones like normal Reload
  • This info COULD change, but this is how Epic is testing it

Other confirmed changes coming to Reload

Beyond the addition of Solos, a new Fortnite Reload map is on the horizon. With Chapter 2 returning soon, Epic Games has chosen to launch a new map for the game mode. Although the details of this map remain a mystery, it's safe to assume that it will utilize the Fortnite Chapter 2 map. We also anticipate a change to the loot pool.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix Prelude event, which will transition players to the second OG season. Fortnite Reload will be waiting on the other side.
