Here is everything new in the Fortnite v31.20 update!

The Fortnite v31.20 update is finally here, and it revolves around a highly-anticipated new game mode. Players can now indulge in the Marvel-themed limited-time mode (LTM), called Days of Doom. Drawing inspiration from the Avengers: Endgame LTM from Chapter 1, Days of Doom provides a fun setting to run rampant with Marvel Mythic items. Here’s everything you need to know about the new patch.

This 16v16 game mode pits the Avengers against Doom’s Henchmen with two separate goals at hand. The Avengers must use the Mythic abilities and other Marvel-inspired weapons to stop Doom’s Forces. On the other side, Doom’s forces need to collect fragments of Pandora’s Box and wield the supervillain’s “formidable power.”

Days of Doom offers the following gameplay elements:

  • Shield and Health regeneration
  • Fall damage immunity
  • Infinite ammo on all weapons

Once your team has collected the seven artifacts, the Avengers team will no longer respawn. Furthermore, the first player to collect an artifact will become “Doom’s Chosen,” giving that individual more health and access to Doom’s armor and weapons.

Doom’s Henchmen Loadout

  • Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets
  • Mythic Combat Assault Rifle
  • Monarch Pistol after retrieving the first artifact
  • Sovereign Shotgun after retrieving the second artifact
  • Shockwave Grenade with unlimited uses and a small cooldown

What happens on the Avengers side?

After the Avengers assemble in the Fortnite v31.20 Marvel LTM, your team must defeat Doom’s Henchmen before they collect all six artifacts. The Doom side possesses more respawns, so the Avengers can utilize one of the following loadouts to complete the task:

Captain America

  • Captain America’s Shield
  • Striker Burst Assault Rifle (Legendary-rarity)
  • Super Slap Splashes (5x)
  • Shield Bubble Jr. (3x)
  • Dual Micro SMGs

War Machine

  • War Machine’s Arsenal
  • War Machine’s Auto Turret
  • War Machine’s Hover Jets
  • Stark Industries Energy Rifle (Legendary-rarity)
  • Chug Splashes (4x)

  • Striker Assault Rifle (Legendary-rarity)

The Days of Doom LTM will stick around until Oct. 4.
