This article outlines how to get shoes in Fortnite when they launch.

Fortnite has officially announced that you will soon have the opportunity to acquire Kicks, which are the game's version of shoes, for your character. While they aren't available yet due to an issue discovered by Epic Games, these cosmetics will become available as soon as possible. This article explains how to get Kicks in Fortnite when these shoes finally arrive in the game.

How to get Kicks in Fortnite

Fortnite Kicks are not available in-game yet, but when Epic Games is ready to launch them, you can purchase the shoes via the Item Shop. This additional layer of customization functions like Back Blings. They will cost you a currently undetermined number of V-Bucks. However, it's worth noting that not all skins are compatible. A recent report by iFireMonkey has indicated that you can apply Kicks to roughly 524 Fortnite skins.

As it stands, Kicks will not debut in the game until further notice. Shoes were initially to arrive in the Item Shop on Nov. 12, following the Fortnite v32.10 update, but Epic identified an issue with the new cosmetic and is working to fix it.

"Kicks are no longer releasing in v32.10. Players can still unlock the AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined in their Remix Pass, but will be unable to equip them until their new release date."

It's unclear whether Epic Games will include shoes in future Fortnite Battle Passes, but that will most likely be the case.
