Lady Gaga is coming to Fortnite!

Towards the end of 2023, Fortnite dropped a new mode titled Fortnite Festival. The game took the styles of Rock Band and Guitar Hero, allowing players to play along to some of their favorite songs. What made it stand out was the allowance of different Fortnite characters.

Now, with the first season coming to an end in the next few weeks, Fortnite Festival has chosen its next headliner: Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga to replace The Weeknd in Fortnite Festival

For the entirety of Chapter 5, Season 1, popular artist, The Weeknd, was the main headliner for the season. This did not mean The Weeknd was the only artist you could play songs from, but just that he was the featured artist.

There were still plenty of songs from various different artists that players were able to jam out to. Now, as we get closer and closer to Season 2 (rumored to start at the beginning of March), Fortnite is preparing to have Lady Gaga be the featured artist.

This means Lady Gaga will have a plethora of songs for players to play, and possibly will have her own Icon Skin in the Item Shop. The Weeknd had his own skin, which stayed in the Item Shop for the entirety of Season 1.

While the announcement says next season, Fortnite Festival may be making its seasons different from the Battle Royale. This assumption comes directly from the poster with Lady Gaga that leaked, which has the date 02/22/24 on the bottom.

Having Lady Gaga as a playable skin, not only adds to the Fortnite Festival experience but would be just as fun in the regular Battle Royale mode.

Who is Lady Gaga?

The 13 Grammy-winning artist, Lady Gaga, has been making hits since the 2000s. Her popularity rose quickly after songs like Poker Face and Bad Romance took off in 2008.

Since then, the artist has been touring the world, selling millions of albums and more. She also has acted in quite a few movies including A Star is Born and the upcoming Joker: Folie à Deux.

Now, though, the artist will be known by many as the "singer from Fortnite," as she officially inserts herself into the Battle Royale's massive universe.
