MiniMikaela wins sportsmanship award at The Milk Cup 2025
When MiniMikaela was announced as the winner of the sportsmanship award, she immediately rushed toward the stage. However, her eyes weren't on the mic or medal at all. Instead, she spent a long moment hugging Nina and Vader to celebrate their victory. It was only after that she took the mic and talked about her own win. This showed exactly why MiniMikaela deserved the sportsmanship award.
"I'm not the best at Fortnite, but I wanted to come here and support all my friends," MiniMikaela said on stage. "They're all just super talented Fortnite players, and just everyone in the room is just really inspiring to see. So if I'm not the best at the game, at least I can help everyone else out."
MiniMikaela echoed this during the interview with esports.gg and other media as well. During the panel, she talked about why good sportsmanship is important in the first place.
"I think I'm very passionate about having good sportsmanship in esports in general," she said. "I think for us, like at The Milk Cup, it's a great opportunity to show we are competitive, you're here to grind, but at the end of the day, we're all friends, and we're able to just appreciate each other for each other's talent and each other's company."

Nina then chimed in, revealing that she's not only best friends with the entire XSET squad, but best friends with MiniMikaela as well. In fact, after all the fanfare, Nina shared hugs with Fraanticc, Kanary, Moxie, and Regs.
"I think it shows how you can still be competitive in the game [--] competing for so much money and the trophy and everything [--] but we don't need to be toxic towards each other," Vader said. "That toxicity isn't needed."
Vader also talked about how MiniMikaela helped her with her hair prior to the start of The Milk Cup 2025 Finals. She texted MiniMikaela on a whim, and the latter was very helpful.

"Mikaela's my best friend, and she helps me out with literally anything," Nina added. I'm glad she's here with me right now. It means a lot. And honestly, it feels great." She continued, emphasizing how she's really good friends with the XSET squad, Mikaela, Vader, and Micxy and that she appreciates their support.
"I think for me, I proved to myself that although I'm not the best Fortnite player, I can still have a good time and be surrounded by all these amazing women and just maybe even pick up something from them. I'm just glad that I can be here with my best friends," MiniMikaela said.
That's all for now. Major congratulations to MiniMikaela, Vader, and Nina! Stick around on esports.gg for more Fortnite news, interviews, and updates.
