The Catling Gun Emote returns to Fortnite after 500 days

An Emote that only ever appeared once in the Fortnite Item Shop over 500 days ago is finally available again. Although it didn't receive much attention, the Catling Gun Fortnite Emote came and went, seemingly never to resurface again. Sure enough, it's back and is potentially one of the most underrated Emotes in the game.

Here's how you can grab the Catling Gun Emote and some history behind it.

The Emote is now available in the Item Shop following its return on Friday, April 4. It's available via the web-based Shop or the in-game Shop tab for one day only. You can find it under the 'Battle Ready' category for only 300 V-Bucks. This price is typical for Fortnite Emotes, as they usually don't cost more than 300 to 500 V-Bucks.

The Catling Gun Emote depicts your chosen character wielding a bubble blaster shaped like a cat. It's a fun addition to Fortnite's seemingly endless list of Emotes available in the game.

The Catling Gun Emote debuted in Fortnite on Nov. 14, 2023, during the original Fortnite OG Season. With OG being a separate game mode now, that tells you how long this Emote has been inside the dreaded Fortnite vault.

It remained there for precisely 508 days before finally returning in Chapter 6 Season 2, mere days after the launch of Fortnite OG Season 3. You can get the Emote until April 5 at 8 p.m. ET, so you must act fast.
