Is Duos coming to Fortnite OG?

However, Chapter 1 shockingly returned with only Solos and Squads. Players instantly noticed the lack of Duos and Trios, an unfortunate outcome for an otherwise record-breaking revival. Why is there no Duos game mode in Fortnite OG?
Despite initially including Duos and Trios in the Fortnite OG blog post, Epic Games unexpectedly removed it. Instead, the developers explicitly referenced Solos, Squads, and the eventual addition of Ranked OG. Duos and Trios remained curiously absent from Fortnite's social media posts. As a result, it's unclear whether either game mode will come to the game.
This wouldn't usually be a concern, but Epic Games' removal of this information from the blog post and lack of alluding to it is concerning. That could mean there are no plans to add Duos or Trios, or it's not in the immediate future.
