The road home begins because it’s about damn time.
Blizzard Entertainment just revealed more information about BlizzCon 2026! The event, featuring the company's many beloved titles, will return to Anaheim, California next year. Read on for the BlizzCon 2026 date, details, ticketing information, and more.
BlizzCon 2026 trailer is a trip down memory lane
Earlier this year, Blizzard Entertainment announced the return of BlizzCon in a trailer. Then, on Nov. 5, the company released a brand-new trailer and shared more details across its social media channels. In the new trailer, we can see familiar faces like Thrall, Anduin, Kerrigan, Hanzo, Tracer, Tyrael, and Winston appear on screen.
The video also includes iconic moments from Blizzard Entertainment games over the years, including the appearance of Lilith in Diablo 4. It then cuts to crowds and cosplayers from past BlizzCon events.
Then, the trailer ends with Tychus from the StarCraft franchise delivering his "It's about time" line -- minus the curse word -- before reiterating the BlizzCon 2026 date. "The road home begins" appears as the tagline after, which indicates a return to BlizzCon festivities after years of not having an in-person version of it!

BlizzCon 2026 date
BlizzCon 2026 will happen between Sept. 12 and 13. The event will feature artists during Community Night, the March of the Murlocs, and the Darkmoon Faire After Hours experience, along with live music at the Hearthstone Tavern area as well. Other activities will include hands-on gameplay and portfolio and resume reviews. There will even be a dedicated BlizzCon store for those who just can't get enough of their favorite franchises.
