FinalMouse just delayed their upcoming drop. Anything new?
Despite their heavy marketing push, FinalMouse has posted an official announcement in its Discord stating that their newest mouse, ULX Prophecy, will have some variants delayed by up to seven weeks.
This statement has sparked quite a response amongst FinalMouse fans who purchased the mouse. Some were okay with the delay while others were quite upset.
FinalMouse heavily pushes ULX Prophecy mouse before delaying the release
The new ULX Prophecy FinalMouse took an extreme marketing campaign, which included four famous streamers: Clix, Tfue, Scream and Tarik. The campaign took place in the desert. Each streamer dressed up as if they were from the world of Dune.
Every streamer's variation of the mouse sold out almost immediately, making it one of FinalMouse's best drops yet.
And now, the highly-anticipated FinalMouse has been delayed.
"Some colorways and sizes will experience an additional 3–4 week delay beyond the original shipping estimate, resulting in a total delay of up to 7 weeks for select orders," said an admin in the official FinalMouse discord.
While FinalMouse has had issues with delays in the past, it would seem as if the company is working to make it up to those affected by giving them the following gifts:
- A complimentary set of new XGRIP 2.0 Competition Grips.
- A special signed 10th Anniversary Prophecy box, autographed by our founder and CEO, Finalboy.
There have currently not been any statements declaring which ULX Prophecy FinalMouse variations will be delayed.

Buyers respond to FinalMouse delay announcement
Quite a few buyers who pre-ordered the ULX Prophecy FinalMouse expressed their thoughts via the company's Discord channel and on Twitter after the announcement.
"I bought three Clix mediums and if those are delayed I won't be buying from them again," said one user on Discord.
These criticisms come after various other past drops have been delayed.
"I swear every drop is delayed now. Why not wait till they actually have everything ready to ship?" said another user on Discord after FinalMouse announced the delay.
However, some people were excited about the delay due to the extra rewards being handed out to those affected.
"Honestly I’m hoping my Prophecy is delayed I want the extra goodies," said someone on Discord.
It would seem as if some fans are looking at the positive light in the situation.
Regardless, many of those who purchased one of the ULX Prophecy FinalMouses are eagerly waiting to learn whether or not their mouse has been delayed.
