If you simply cannot wait until the official launch of the Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail expansion, then you can get early access to it! Read on for the instructions on how to access FFXIV Dawntrail ahead of time.
FFXIV Dawntrail Early Access release date
The FFXIV Dawntrail Early Access release date is June 28, 2024. In terms of how long the Early Access event goes on for, it's until July 2, 2024.
How to get FFXIV Dawntrail Early Access
- Pre-order FFXIV Dawntrail
- Redeem the pre-order bonus registration code
- Use the Moogle Delivery Service to get your in-game bonuses
To play the expansion ahead of time, you must pre-order Dawntrail from the Steam Store, Microsoft Store, or PlayStation Store. Next, you have to redeem your pre-order bonus registration code if you're on either Windows PC or Mac. The PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S versions of the expansion do not require such a code.

- Right-click "Final Fantasy XIV Online"
- Select "Manage CD keys"
- Copy the 20-digit code
- Sign in to the Mog Station using your Square Enix account
- Select and confirm the service account
- Select the "Enter Pre-order Bonus Code" option
- Paste in the code
- Click on the "Next" button
