Wondering what Mafia: The Old Country PC system requirements are? You’re in the right place. The fourth entry in this crime-drama series is a stark departure from Mafia 3, both in terms of scope and setting.
Mafia: The Old Country takes place in 19th-century Sicily, hundreds of years before the events of the first game. It’s a linear, third-person cinematic adventure that focuses on hand-to-hand melee combat, stealth infiltrations, and vehicular chase sequences.
Most importantly, Mafia: The Old Country is a current-gen only Unreal Engine 5 game. Naturally, this means its PC version will be visually demanding like other games developed on this engine.
Without further ado, here is a detailed breakdown of Mafia: The Old Country’s system requirements, both minimum and recommended variants, so you can take a gander yourself on whether your PC can handle this upcoming new release.
Mafia: The Old Country Minimum PC specs

OS Windows 10/11 | Processor AMD Ryzen 7 2700X / Intel Core i7-9700K | Memory 16 GB RAM | Graphics AMD Radeon RX5700 XT / NVIDIA RTX 2070 | DirectX 12 | Storage 55 GB; SSD mandatory |
As you can see, Mafia: The Old Country’s minimum requirements for GPU and Processor are slightly on the higher end, especially compared to recent UE 5 titles like Wuchang: Fallen Feathers and Oblivion Remastered.
However, this shouldn’t be surprising since, unlike those titles, Mafia: The Old Country is a cinematic experience that emphasizes fidelity. Likewise, the 16 GB RAM requirement should be comforting, as it’s the norm for most new AAA releases.
Likewise, the 55 GB SSD requirement is a slouch compared to the 120 GB+ space that modern open world titles like Oblivion Remastered require. It’s worth noting that at minimum specifications, Mafia: The Old should be able to pull off 1080p resolution at medium graphics settings. There’s no word on the targeted FPS, but we assume it would be 30.

Mafia: The Old Country Recommended PC specs

OS Windows 10/11 | Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5800X / Intel Core i7-12700K | Memory 32 GB RAM | Graphics AMD Radeon RX6950 XT / NVIDIA RTX 3080 Ti | DirectX 12 | Storage 55 GB; SSD mandatory |
Unsurprisingly, Mafia: The Old Country’s recommended PC specs are also on the higher end. There’s a possibility that a majority of systems won't be able to handle the game at high settings.
Perhaps most jarring is the 3080 Ti or RX6950 XT GPU requirement, both of which are roughly $1200 graphics cards. This is a stark departure from Wuchang’s meager RTX 2070 specs. At launch, Oblivion Remastered on PC was highly unoptimized, and its recommended specs included an RTX 2080.
Additionally, the 32 GB RAM requirement is sure to cause disappointment among the entire PC community. What makes this slightly atrocious is that these recommended specs would only run Mafia: The Old Country at high graphics preset and 1440p resolution. There's no word on FPS or native 4K builds.
