The Finals has a Twitch Rivals event, which surprisingly marks its very first official competitive tournament.

Embark Studios has been making The Finals more and more esports friendly. It has private matches, a one-life mode, and gameplay fitting of a competitive FPS. Yet it still hasn't received official esports support, until now with The Finals Twitch Rivals.

While tournaments have popped on competitive gaming platforms, there hasn't been anything we can deem official yet. That all changes with a Twitch Rivals event featuring The Finals' signature Cashout mode for a solid prize pool.

How to watch The Finals Twitch Rivals

It is pretty easy to find the channel that streams The Finals Twitch Rivals event. It's just the Twitch Rivals page on Twitch. Watch it there or follow along right on this page, as we have the stream embedded just below.

When is The Finals Twitch Rivals?

If you do plan on tuning in, you can catch all the action on June 18. It begins on that Thursday at 2 p.m. PT, and only lasts one day. When the broadcast ends, our winners will have been decided.

Format and prize pool

The mode for the event is Cashout. In Cashout, contestants must locate vaults, open them, and take them to a Cashout Station.

They then have to wait for the Cashout to complete, defending the station, but other teams can swoop in and steal the money for themselves.

With 24 participants, eight teams of three, they'll battle it out in a Round Robin format for their share of $50,00. Here is the official formatting directly from the Twitch Rivals page:
