Apparently, More Than Just Pals is happening and the Palworld dating sim is available to wishlist on its completely real Steam Page.

For April Fools' Day 2024, Pocketpair released a trailer for a dating sim. Where you can date and maybe even possibly eat the various Pals of their universe. More Than Just Pals takes Palword in a completely different direction, and we thought it was a joke.

It's not. It is actually happening with a Steam Page up and running. You can wishlist the game and check out all of the details about what is to come. At this point, it is hard to believe anything anymore, especially if this game really launches.

More Than Just Pals officially confirmed by Palworld devs?

Exactly one year to the day of what everybody thought to be a sick April Fools' joke, More Than Just Pals gets an updated trailer. It introduces new characters that you can interact with and potentially date within the world that holds the Palpagos Islands.

If this is your kind of thing, more power to you. But seriously, we cannot believe it may or may not be happening. We didn't think much of it outside of a prank last year, as may game developers dished out April Fools' jokes for their titles.

It now has a fully fleshed out Steam Page with a release date marked as "to be announced." The button to add it to your wishlist is there, however, and the game description details many of the characters you'll encounter. There are even recommended and minimum system requirements.

Pocketpair is even doing a Lovander body pillow giveaway through the official X account for Palworld. This is to hype up the new trailer and get people excited for More Than Just Pals, with two pillows available to win.

We will 100% hold our breath with this one, and if it is just another silly joke and never sees the light of day, we'll finally breathe that sigh of relief. If it does turn out to be real, though, you better mark the game as Private so no one sees you playing it on Steam.
