Crossplay will be improved in this years iteration of NHL. Crossplay will now let you play both with and against players in Ultimate Team. Additionally, Crossplay will also apply to World of Chel.
NHL 25 is avaliable on both Playstation 5 and XBOX Series X|S. Crossplay will allow cross-console invitations in World of Chel. Players playing on PlayStation can send World of Chel game invites to players playing on Xbox Series X|S.
In Ultimate Team, NHL 25 will allow Cross-Console invites in the form of private match invites. The Auction house will also be Cross-Console, with both platforms sharing a combined pool of player cards. That should help you find the exact card you need, and increase demand for the ones you don't. As well as increased card demand, NHL 25 Crossplay will increase player pools significantly.
