The Showcase of the Immortals returns with WWE 2K24, bringing new features, for editions, and a whole lot of Cody Rhodes.

It's that time of year again. Consistent as gravity is the coming of Wrestlemania and yet another iteration in the WWE 2K franchise. And while things feel a bit different in this post-Vince McMahon era, some things never change. The spectacle, the majesty, the same photo of The Rock. It's all here as publisher 2K Games revealed WWE 2K24 and its four--yes, four--game editions. We hope you like Cody Rhodes.

We'll admit that the WWE 2K series isn't the full-on punching bag it used to be. Last year's model was pretty good! That said, an old dog struggles to learn new tricks and WWE 2K24 looks to employ the franchise's most consistent one. A plethora of editions, DLC, and tie-ins come with the game's release.

Let's see how WWE plans on celebrating forty years of WrestleMania. I can't wait to see what they have in store for WrestleMania 20!

WWE 2K24 features: Finish the story?

The Rock? CM Punk? Never heard of em. The focus of WWE 2K24 and its announcement seems front and centered on one man: Stardust Dashing Cody Rhodes The EVP of AEW The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes. After all, and according to the trailer, The Story's Not Finished. Nevermind that the perfect time to capitalize on Rhodes' meteoric rise to popularity in WWE was last year! 2024 is a new year, and with it comes new marketing opportunities.

Let's run down the features coming to this year's version.
