The Genshin Impact version 5.5 Special Program Livestream "Day of the Flame's Return" is giving us Primogem redemption codes, details of the update, and more. This update will also have new characters, weapons, and events!
Genshin Impact 5.5 stream Primogem codes
The stream revealed three Primogem codes to help players save up for the upcoming banners! Claim them on the official website or in-game. You can also click each code below to automatically fill up the site form and all you have to do is press "Redeem."
- GI55Teteocan - 100 Primogems, 10 Mystic Enhancement Ore
- GoGoVaresa0326 - 100 Primogems, 5 Hero's Wit
- CoachIansan0326 - 100 Primogems, 50,000 Mora
These codes expire shortly after the livestream, so make sure to claim them immediately.
Genshin Impact 5.5 update
Two new characters will be added in this update. Both characters come from Natlan, but only one is 5-star. There will also be some game optimizations, which you can read about here.
Varesa
Varesa is a 5-star Electro Catalyst character whose kit features form-swapping, even more than the Nightsoul Blessing state that all Natlan characters have.
She is a luchador from the Collective of Plenty, a tribe that we can expect to know more about with this update.
Iansan
Iansan was one of the first Natlan characters to be revealed to us, and she's finally becoming playable! Iansan is a 4-star Electro Polearm character, and you can learn more about her kit here.

Genshin Impact 5.5 banners
Varesa will be featured in the first half alongside a rerun banner for Xianyun. Iansan will be a featured 4-star in these banners.
Meanwhile, the second half banners will feature reruns for Xilonen and Venti.
Each 5-star character's Signature Weapon will also be featured in each respective banner, including the new weapon and Varesa's Signature Weapon, Vivid Notions (5-star Catalyst).

Long Night's Oath
- 2-Piece: Plunging Attack DMG increased by 25%.
- 4-Piece: After the equipping character's Plunging Attack/Charged Attack/Elemental Skill hits an opponent, they will gain 1/2/2 stack(s) of "Radiance Everlasting." Plunging Attacks, Charged Attacks, or Elemental Skills can each trigger this effect once every 1s. Radiance Everlasting: Plunging Attacks deal 15% increased DMG for 6s. Max 5 stacks. Each stack's duration is counted independently.

- 2-Piece: Cryo DMG Bonus +15%
- 4-Piece: When the equipping character has 0 Elemental Energy, Normal Attack DMG is increased by 60% and Elemental Burst DMG is increased by 60%. After the equipping character deals Normal Attack DMG, the aforementioned Elemental Burst effect will stop applying for 6s. After the equipping character deals Elemental Burst DMG, the aforementioned Normal Attack effect will stop applying for 6s. This effect can trigger even if the equipping character is off the field.
