Cho’gall Anomalies enter Hearthstone

Cho'gall, Twilight Chieftain is a 6 mana 6/7 legendary minion from the Fall of Ulduar Mini-Set. It's a neutral minion with the Taunt and Lifesteal keywords. Cho'gall also has a 25% chance to corrupt a game with a random Anomaly.

Here are some Cho'gall Anomalies:

  • Approaching Nightmare: Both players start with Yogg-Saron, Hope's End in their hand.
  • Gift of Gluttony: Both players start with two more drawn cards.
  • Fast Track: Reduce the cost of all cards in both player's starting hands by (1).

"The Anomaly effect is revealed prior to your mulligan and activates after the mulligan, but before the first turn is taken," according to Blizzard. "At launch, there will be 20 Anomalies, each with an equal chance of corrupting the game."

Anomalies invade multiple Hearthstone game modes

In Hearthstone, Anomalies refer to a gameplay system that changes the rules of a match. Anomalies will be active in all games for the first week of Hearthstone patch 27.4's launch. After that, they will only be active in 25% of games until the launch of patch 28.0.

"Yogg-Saron's faithful servant, Cho’gall, is coming in the Fall of Ulduar to unleash Anomalies on Standard, Wild, Twist, and Arena, too," Blizzard stated.

Additionally, if both players in a game have Cho'gall in their decks during the event period, then it will be possible to experience two Anomalies at the same time.
