The Angry Chicken Podcast has been around forever, but after 505 episodes the show has come to an end. The final episode was full of nostalgia, joy and tears.

However, every ending also means new beginnings. Our TAC friends are entering a new stage of their lives and we should all be happy for them. Let's go over what happened in this iconic episode.
The end of The Angry Chicken Podcast
Only a week ago, Jocelyn, with tears in her eyes and a crackling voice, announced that the final The Angry Chicken episode would take place on April 19. With Jocelyn and her partner expecting their first baby in a couple of months and in the process of moving, she decided to also move on.
"As you all know, I am expecting a baby in October. What you don’t know is that we are also in the process of selling our house and moving, which will happen at the end of this month. I was hoping to be settled and able to keep recording right up until the fall, but it doesn’t look like that’s what will happen. So I have made the difficult decision to end The Angry Chicken after over 500 episodes and almost a decade. Big, huge, ultra, crazy, mega thanks to Hat for helping me keep the lights on here at TAC."
By the end of the show, we got to learn yet another reason behind the end of the legendary TAC podcast. But we will go over that when the time comes.
10 years of TAC
Thru the years, the show had uncountable guests, including Hearthstone personalities, content creators and legendary characters, such as Ben Brode. The main line-up changed thru the years, first with Dills leaving, then with Ridiculous Hat joining and finally with Garrett stepping down.
Regardless of the changes, the Angry Chicken essence remained for over 500 weekly episodes. That unprecedented consistency helped forge a rock-solid community around a show talking about the game we all love.
The podcast even got to record live from Blizzcon. That should give you an idea of how embedded into the game the show was. The hosts went over some of their favorite memories, related to the game and the podcast.
Selecting a few events from such a long period of time is an impossible task, and I don't want to risk it to put them into words and butcher them. If you want to take a nostalgia ride, check what Garrett, Hat and Jocelyn said about their favorite memories in this timestamped link.

The Community's responses
Ever since Jocelyn's announcement, the community started expressing their love and support for the show. The general response could be summarized as: "Thank you for everything, we love you". But, some went above and beyond.
Garrett, The Angry Chicken founder put together a farewell video. If you want to take a dimension of how immense and impactful TAC was, take a second to the following video. Have a tissue in hand.
Alkali, Hearthstone Community Manager, also took some time to record a funny farewell video with Stormraige. The video was the show's opening and was as funny as confusing. It's art, and I won't judge it.
Talking about Community Managers, the TAC podcast ended with an amazing piece of news. RidiculousHat announced he will become Associate Hearthstone Community Manager and that he would be leaving behind content creation.
While it's sad to hear that the person that embodies the concept of Hearthstone podcasts will not be behind the mic anymore, the comfort that he is starting a journey in which his passion and his job will overlap 100%.
Despite Hat being only for two years, he did leave a footprint in everyone's' heart and blended into the show as if he had been since the very beginning.
