Note that the Jiaoqiu skills and kit below are leaks. This data was not released through official means and should be taken with a grain of salt. Specific scalings are not included as they usually change as the release gets closer.
Jiaoqiu has been officially revealed as a 5-star Fire Nihility character. He's the first of this type and is a step higher rarity than Guinaifen. He is a foxian healer, but his Path as a playable character is Nihility. His kit revolves around the "Ashen Roast" debuff which increases the damage received by the afflicted enemy.

Basic ATK - Heart Afire (Single Target)
- Deals minor Fire DMG to a single enemy.
Skill - Scorch Onslaught (Blast)
- Deals Fire DMG to a single enemy and minor Fire DMG to enemies adjacent to it.
Ultimate - Pyrograph Arcanum (AoE)
- Sets the number of "Ashen Roast" stacks on enemy targets to the highest number of "Ashen Roast" stacks present on the battlefield. Then, activates a Field and deals Fire DMG to all enemies. While inside the Field, enemy targets take increased Ultimate DMG, with a chance of being inflicted with 1 stack of Ashen Roast when taking action.
Talent - Quartet Finesse, Octave Finery (Impair)
- There is a high chance of applying Ashen Roast after attacking the target.
- Each stack of Ashen Roast increases the initial DMG received by enemies for a number of turns.
Technique - Fiery Queller (Impair)
- Creates a special dimension. After engaging enemies in the dimension, deals minor Fire DMG to all enemies and has a high chance of applying Ashen Roast.

Pyre Cleanse (requires Character Ascension 2)
- When a Field exists, the enemies' Effect Hit Rate is reduced by 30%. At the start of each turn, they receive Fire Additional DMG equal to 150% of Jiaoqiu's ATK.
Hearth Kindle (requires Character Ascension 4)
- When Jiaoqiu's Effect Hit Rate is higher than 80%, for each 15% exceeded, Jiaoqiu additionally gains 60% ATK, up to a maximum of 240%.
Seared Scent (requires Character Ascension 6)
- When a Field exists, enemies entering combat will be inflicted with Ashen Roast stacks. The number of stacks applied will match the highest number of Ashen Roast stacks inflicted while the Field is active, with a minimum of 1 stack(s).

Pentapathic Transference
- When an ally attacks an enemy target afflicted with Ashen Roast, increases DMG dealt by 48%. Each time the Talent triggers Ashen Roast, additionally increases the present Ashen Roast stacks by 1.
From Savor Comes Suffer
- Ashen Roast can be considered as a Burn status. Enemies with Ashen Roast will suffer Fire DoT equal to 300% of Jiaoqiu's ATK at the start of each turn.
Flavored Euphony Reigns Supreme
- Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- Basic ATK Lv. +1, up to a maximum of Lv. 10.
Leisure In, Luster Out
- When the Field exists, reduces enemy target's ATK by 15%.
Duel in Dawn, Dash in Dusk
- Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
- Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15.
Nonamorphic Pyrobind
- When the enemy target is defeated, existing Ashen Roast stacks will be transferred to a surviving enemy with the lowest amount of Ashen Roast stacks. Increases max Ashen Roast stacks to 9. Every stack of Ashen Roast will reduce all enemies' All-Type RES by 3%.
Jiaoqiu will be live on Honkai Star Rail version 2.4, scheduled for July 31, 2024.
