The Kafka buffs in Honkai Star Rail may signal the return of Nihility’s viability in end-game content as she gets supportive aspects.
Kafka was once the queen of Nihility, but as time went on and more characters became playable, she and the Path slowly faded to irrelevance. Now, Honkai Star Rail is giving Kafka some buffs to usher her back into the meta. With her, hopefully, comes the return of the Nihility Path as a viable approach to endgame content.
Kafka buffs
Kafka will now deal more damage overall and has her multipliers increased. Moreover, she now functions as somewhat of a supportive unit, passively buffing her allies' DoT DMG.
Her role will largely remain the same, as a lynchpin to Nihility and DoT teams. Kafka's playstyle shouldn't change much, either. If anything, expect her to follow-up twice as much and your DoT team to deal even more damage.
Skill
Her Skill will now pop the extra DoT DMG on the adjacent targets for a lower multiplier. Before the buff, the skill only pops the extra DoT DMG on the primary target. This effect is retained.
Ultimate
Kafka's Ultimate will now echo all DoTs on enemies hit, as opposed to only the Shock effect before. The multiplier for this echoed damage is also slightly increased.
This effect was previously Passive Talent - Torture.

Talent
She can now hold two charges of her follow-up attack, but still recovers one at the end of her turn.
