Honor of Kings teams up with Jujutsu Kaisen, with characters like Yuji Itadori and Satoru Gojo expected to join the game.
Honor of Kings (HoK) officially announced a new collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen (JJK) on October 18. The partnership will bring two iconic characters from the Jujutsu Kaisen universe into the game. In addition, the collaboration will also extend to Honor of Kings' sister game, Arena of Valor (AoV), simultaneously.
Jujutsu Kaisen, the hit manga by Gege Akutami, is 2021's best-selling manga that has reached global acclaim with over 100 million copies in circulation as of September 2024. Its anime adaptation, produced by MAPPA, won the prestigious Anime of the Year award at the 2021 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, thanks to its intense action sequences and stunning animation.

What’s coming in the Collaboration?
Although specific details about the collaboration have yet to be revealed, Honor of Kings has teased players with a poster featuring two popular characters from Jujutsu Kaisen: Yuji Itadori and Satoru Gojo. While leaks suggest that these may be in-game skins for Biron and Kongming, there has been no official confirmation regarding this yet.
Additionally, the collaboration will also introduce a Jujutsu Kaisen-themed skin for Garo, based on the school's uniform but not tied to a specific character. The Hero's Gorge map in Honor of Kings will also be decorated with Jujutsu Kaisen-themed elements, adding more immersive gameplay for the players.
Previously, Honor of Kings has collaborated with Hello Kitty and Saint Seiya, featuring at least one free skin per collaboration, often of Epic-level quality. Each collaboration also introduces several limited-time, purchasable skins: two for Hello Kitty and five for Saint Seiya. Looking at this, we could expect a similar offering for the Jujutsu Kaisen skin line.
Interestingly, this is not the first time Jujutsu Kaisen has teamed up with mobile games. In February 2022, the anime partnered with PUBG MOBILE, another title from Honor of Kings' publisher, Level Infinite. A year later, it collaborated with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), another mobile MOBA game similar to Honor of Kings and Arena of Valor.
When will the collaboration start?
The Honor of Kings X Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration will kick off starting on November 1, based on a recent announcement by HoK on October 21. More details will be revealed closer to the launch date.
