All LoL teams qualified for MSI 2025

LoL's Mid-Season Invitational is around the corner with Vancouver, Canada playing host to 10 of the world's best teams this coming June and July. MSI 2025 is the second of three international LoL tournaments this year following the launch of First Stand back in March.

Let's take a look at all the teams that will represent each major LoL region at MSI 2025.

Both teams that make the grand final of the LCK this split will qualify for the main stage of MSI. Thanks to their lock as top seed in league play, Gen.G will start in the qualification match meaning they're just one best-of-three away from securing their tickets to MSI.

Apart from the second seed, all other teams will be seeded into the single-elimination "gauntlet".

Thanks to their flawless run in the LCK Regular Season, Gen.G advanced directly to upper final. One more win, and they qualified for MSI. Gen.G faced Hanwha Life Esports . In a very close match, Gen.G earned their #1 MSI seed.

T1 were in the lower chain of matches: they started with Round 4. T1 needed to win two matches: vs KT Rolster and HLE to qualify for MSI — sure enough, the LoL World Champions 2024 did it in quite a confident way.

The bracket stage for LPL Split 2 gets started on May 31. The top four teams — TES, Anyone's Legend, JDG, and Bilibili — skipped straight though to the bracket while the remaining teams fought through a single best-of-three play-in to qualify.

The top two from the LPL final both proceed to MSI and EWC.

Anyone's Legend played extremely well in the Playoffs. They defeated Weibo Gaming in the upper semi and then faced Bilibili Gaming twice, in the upper final and the grand final.

BLG secured their second LPL seed for the League of Legends MSI 2025 after a win against Invictus Gaming in the lower final. They still couldn't defeat Anyone's Legend, so Bilibili Gaming start from the Play-In stage on the Mid-Season Invitational.

G2 Esports became the first team qualified to MSI 2025 on May 27, defeating Movistar KOI 3-1 in the upper bracket final. This guarantees G2 will play in the LEC final with both teams there progressing through to MSI.

The runner-up in that final will drop to the MSI Play-In. Both teams also qualified for EWC in Saudi Arabia, meaning G2 joins T1 as teams attending the event.

The LEC Spring grand final took place on June 9. It wass between G2 Esports and KOI: a rerun of the upper final. KOI eliminated Fnatic in the lower final to have the second spot for sure. These two teams just needed to decide who gets the better seed. KOI were in there revenge mood: they defeated G2 and became LEC Spring 2025 Champions.

Both LTA North and LTA South will have a single representative at MSI. The LTA North winner heads to the main event, while the LTA South winner will have to survive the Play-In.

The top two from North make it to EWC, while only the South champion gets a ticket to Riyadh. The finals for both leagues took place on June 16. FURIA defeated paiN Gaming, and FlyQuest won over Cloud9

The LCP sends two teams to MSI with many hoping an APAC rep can emulate CTBC Flying Oyster's upset top four finish at First Stand earlier this year. Both qualifying series finalists will make it to MSI with the champion skipping the Play-In and heading straight to the group stage.

CTBC Flying Oyster guaranteed their MSI qualification with the win over TALON in the regional upper final. The final match of the LCP Mid Season 2025 decided the second qualified team and the seeds distribution.

After a brilliant victory in the lower final, GAM Esports is the second team to represent Pacific LoL at the MSI 2025. They faced CFO in the regional grand final to battle for seed 1.

The regional gran final was back-and-forth, but eventually, CTBC Flying Oyster won game 5, the match, and the LCP Mid-Season 2025.
