Is Jinx dead in Arcane?

Riot Games and Fortiche Production delivered a hell of a series finale to Arcane, and now everyone is asking themselves whether Jinx is dead.

Jinx was clearly the protagonist throughout most of the show as she's a deeply complex character. Riot Games did not hesitate killing any characters during Arcane, but getting rid of Jinx sounds like way too much fans to handle

Well, technically, it's reasonable to assume that Jinx is dead after the events of Arcane's series finale. However, the show also implied that she's alive before wrapping up. Let's break down what happened.

After Jayce and Viktor destroy the Hextech in one of the most iconic moments of Arcane Season 2, Episode 9 "The Dirt Under Your Nails," the show cuts to Vi, Jinx, and Warwick (Vander).

The whole scenario is falling apart and Jinx desperately tells Vi to make the leap to another ledge. However, Warwick is determined to land the final blow to Vi before the ledge falls apart. This leads to Jinx strike Warwick, thus saving her sister.

However, the platform the trio were standing on starts to fall off, putting their lives at risk.

Vi does the logical thing and grabs Jinx's hand while Warwick is also grabbing Jinx. The tension rises at this moment as they all could die, but Jinx pulls away the Hexgem from Vi's gauntlet and falls down with Warwick.

Jinx hugs Warwick before they disappear in the dust. That makes us think that Jinx is dead for good, however, at the final moments of Arcane Season 2, the creators imply she's still alive somehow.

Before Arcane Season 2 wraps, a scene portrayed by Caitlyin implies that Jinx isn't dead.

Caitlyn looks at the air ducts, holding the head of one of Jinx's notorious destructible monkey toys. And then Arcane ends with a ship flying towards the horizon.

If you paid attention to Arcane, you'd notice that Jinx tried to escape from reality several times, especially after the deaths of Silco and Isha. That said, she could have survived and escaped on that airship to finally spend some time alone.

While Jinx's future is up in the air, it's safe to assume that she survived at the end of Arcane.
